Clinical spaces ask more of ceilings and walls than most rooms. Finishes need to be seamless, cleanable, and free of joints and grid lines where dust and grime collect. That is where Clipso’s antibacterial coverings come in: a stretch fabric with an antibacterial treatment built into the material, made for healthcare interiors.
Space Ceiling supplies and installs Clipso antibacterial coverings across Alberta — for clinics, dental and medical offices, and hospital-adjacent spaces where hygiene matters.
According to Clipso, its antibacterial fabrics carry a bactericidal treatment in the material itself, and the company states the treatment kills 99.9% of common bacteria on contact. The treatment is part of the fabric — not a coating that wears off — and the coverings can be used on ceilings and walls.
Tile-and-grid ceilings break a room into hundreds of joints. Each joint is a line where dust settles and cleaning slows down. A Clipso covering stretches across the room as one continuous surface: no grid, no tile edges, nothing to lift out and replace. Walls can be covered the same way, so corners and transitions stay clean and simple.

Space Ceiling’s healthcare work in Calgary includes the backlit ceiling boxes at Rockyview Hospital’s Prostate Cancer Centre — 22 boxes installed across the centre, with even, glare-free light and a printed sky visual for clinical spaces where light quality matters. See more in the project gallery.
The fabric clips into a perimeter track fixed to the walls or ceiling, so in most cases there is no demolition and the room stays usable around the work. Some projects are completed within one day. A site measure costs $150 in Calgary and $200 outside the city, credited in full when you proceed.
